Mindful Family Retreat
Finding balance, grace and joy
in daily family life
It's difficult to maintain a daily meditation or yoga practice as a parent. It can also be surprisingly challenging to bring the wisdom and fruits of our spiritual practice to sleepless nights, temper tantrums and to the diminishing connection with one's own self and romantic partner.
Exploring inner and outer connection
through yoga, meditation, nature and fun.
This specially designed retreat is led by Kaye and Geoff two imperfectly practicing buddhist yogis who grapple with bringing the light of their spiritual practice to parenting on a daily basis. We believe that, like all the difficult things in this life, parenting can be a fertile ground for awakening into presence and compassion.
We created this retreat out of a heartfelt wish to create space where parents can reflect on the gifts and challenges of parenting while deepening or re-connecting with their meditation or yoga practice. Along with time for your own practice there will be lots of fun stuff happening to keep your little yogis and yoginis happy and lots of opportunities for parents and children to come together for meaningful experiences in beautiful surroundings.
Meet The Mindful Family Retreat Team
I'm a highly trained yoga teacher and movement specialist. I've spent the last 20 years bringing the study and practice of Buddhism into daily life and the past five years into applying my understanding to the joys and challenges of parenting and family life.
